The Conservatory

The Conservatory of Music and Dramatic Art of Antibes Juan-les-Pins opened its doors in 1980; today there are 46 courses available by 40 qualified professors.
Courses include one-to-one tuition of one or more instruments in 25 minute or one hour sessions (first and second year), and one hour courses with music training and group classes (Final Honours).
Group classes develop skills for working in a group and encourage listening and motivation.

Students are assessed through examination each year and awarded progress diplomas.
The Municipal Conservatory of Antibes prepares students for University entry and entry to National, Regional and Higher Education Conservatories, as well as entering them in amateur and professional competitions.
Students at the Conservatory gain hands-on experience, as in addition to their studies they also perform in many of the eighty events that the Conservatory stages each year in Antibes, nearby towns and twinned towns on the Continent. There are shows, auditions and events that give students the opportunity to perform and express themselves on stage.
The Conservatory is open from September to June and adheres to school timetables.
