After the Indian summer of September, October
is the month for comedy, with the Boeuf Festival, a festival of improvisation.
As happens each year when there is that first nip of winter
in the air, improvisation reigns in Antibes Juan-les-Pins
with Monette Candela and her team at the Theatre de la Marguerite,
accompanied by many stars of the genre. Each show opens with
a new discovery in “Eclats de rire”.

Summer already seems far away
at the end of October, but images of underwater scenes bring
back memories of the golden days of summer. The World Festival of Underwater Images is one of the most
beautiful showpieces of the mysteries of the world under
the sea. Astonishing pictures capture the very depths of
the seabed, unusual dives and extraordinary adventures.
This fascinating festival has film shows, reports, documentaries,
slide shows, painting and photography exhibitions and various
stands (books, travel, diving equipment etc.).
