The Festival of Sacred Music begins in January,
in deepest winter, and continues to the start of spring in
March
Antibes Cathedral, like many ancient churches, is blessed
with excellent acoustics, which make it particularly suitable
for works of sacred music, both vocal and instrumental. With
artistic director Philippe Depétris, the Festival
of Sacred Music never ceases to attract a large, enthusiastic
audience each year, who are treated to some of the most beautiful
well-known arias as well as some lesser known, but no less
beautiful.

February in Antibes Juan-les-Pins is the month of the woman
Feminarte is a women's festival, for women and by women but
containing something for everyone! Antibes Juan-les-Pins
becomes the female capital with exhibitions, shows and
concerts around the town on the theme of women. Invented
by the Theatre de la Marguerite and its team of actresses,
the venues are the Bains Douches, salle du 8 mai and other
places around the town. Intended to appeal to everyone,
the male of the species may attend if he dares!

In March, carnivals and magic to celebrate the arrival of spring
March is the month that carnivals take to the road, and in Antibes Juan-les-Pins,
the greatest world magicians and conjurors come to Juan-les-Pins to the “Golden
Dove” Festival.
For more than thirteen years, this magic show has given magicians the
chance to exchange ideas and catch up with the latest tricks of the trade.
Under the magic wand of artistic director, Gérard Majax, they
once more stage performances full of glitz, glamour and mystery, with
plenty of humour thrown in.
