From 21 January to 27 February 2010, some 20 census canvassers will be circulating in the town. The census is taken from a random sample of addresses selected by I.N.S.E.E., representing approximately 8% of homes in the town. In total, 4,274 homes will be canvassed during the census.
On 1 January 2006, the population of Antibes was 75,820 (date of registration of statistics). The list of legal residents being updated each year and authenticated by decree, the next statistics on the Antibes population must be gathered between now and the end of the year.
Where and how to receive the questionnaires
Census canvassers will distribute the questionnaires to people concerned. There are questions concerning the home and people living in it.
You can make an appointment with the census canvasser to receive the questionnaire and return it.
You can submit the form to the census office on the first floor of the Town Hall annexe in Fontonne (1 Place Jean Aude): Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8.30 to 12.00 and 13.00 to 16.15. Tuesday and Thursday 9.30 to 13.00 and 14.15 to 17.30.

All census canvassers carry an official ID card and are subject to sworn secrecy-of-information procedures.
The law make sit compulsory for all people resident in France to complete the questionnaire within the given dates. Failure to do so results in court proceedings. We would remind you, however, that it is a civic act to complete the form as the results of the census influence public planning and fund allocation for schools, hospitals and other important facilities.
