R.E.L.I.E.F.S. Association

Exchange Network and Links for Interaction with Children and Families is an Association formed in 2004 to improve care of children, families and their environment.

The head office is situated at the Alliance psychiatric infant-juvenile Day Centre at Fontonne Hospital with president Dr Karine Albernhe.

Since its formation, Reliefs has put many measures in place to improve the daily life of children, notably the creation of a video laboratory, installing air-conditioning in the premises, producing a book by and for children, organising therapeutic study days and trips and opening communication with families, professionals and so on.

Encouraged by the great success of these measures, the association is working on various projects.

*encouraging the talents of children attending the psychiatric infant-juvenile Day Centre with art and music classes in conjunction with the Antibes Conservatory of Music and the Peynet Museum.
*encouraging research work and improving communication with children through use of puppets or pictures with videos available for families and children.
*developing a partnership with associations to facilitate acquisition of videos and photos with a view to staging a large art exhibition of children’s work.
