Bakers invite you to join in this celebration of bread

For the last twelve years, bread and the bread-making profession has been celebrated in a big national festival in the middle of May as 16th May is Saint Honoré’s Day, the patron saint of bakers.

The day focuses on this healthy and nutritious product that accompanies our meals every day. Antibes Juan-les-Pins is involved in this big event and celebrates everything to do with bread for the third consecutive year on Saturday 17 May.

There are many events for young and old :

• The blessing of the bread by Father Carpentier after the inauguration.
• Bread-making demonstrations in the square all day from 10.00 to 17.00.
• Visitors can also buy bread with all funds donated to the charity By the children for the children.
• Information stands on the bread-making profession are of interest to everyone and in particular young job-seekers
  

• here are activities in the afternoon and prize awards for competitions held at schools in the town. A wonderful, fascinating and friendly festival.
