The Antibes Sacred Music Festival takes place in the magnificent cathedral in the heart of the old town, near the famous ramparts so dear to the hearts of Nicolas de Stael, Jacques Audiberti and Pablo Picasso. A venue much-appreciated by music lovers from around the region because of its exceptional acoustics. With the chancel in 12th century Roman style and the ribbed vault it is the ideal venue for music and song. The Sacred Music Festival is a series of splendid evening performances and matinees, with conductor Philippe Dépetris.

Azur Aquarium and Terrarium Show
Each year, the Aquario-Passion association stages the Azur Aquarium and Terrarium Show at the Palais de Congrès, featuring the creatures, scaled or otherwise, which live in ponds, aquariums and terrariums. A wide-ranging event over two days with some twenty stalls staffed by enthusiastic experts and amateurs from around France.

Corsican Weekend with CYRNOS
The Corsican culture Weekend is staged each year in March at the Palais de Congrès, organised by CYRNOS with president Edouard Biaggi. All aspects of Corsican life feature on some 40 stalls: painting, sculpture, olive wood, coral, jewellery, fabric, salami, wine, cheese, cooked products, honey, biscuits, and various associations are present.
There are many shows and lectures this weekend too, and visitors can meet local authors and find out about the Island of Beauty, perhaps giving them a little taste of a holiday across the Mediterranean …

Old Antibes Antique and Brocante Fair
Pré aux Pecheurs, next to Port Vauban
One of the most illustrious fairs in Europe, some 60,000 visitors attend the event each year in the 6,000 square metre marquee. The fair launches the season on the Cote d’Azur, and is popular with the wealthy and not-so-wealthy, the famous and the unknown, and with antique experts. There is also a brocante section.
As music is at the very heart of cultural life in Antibes Juan-les-Pins, a Harp Festival is taking place for the first time in the Palais de Congrès.
There are various concerts and an exhibition featuring some of the greatest harp-makers in the Hall of the palais where instruments may be tried out. There are also presentations of the harp at schools in the town, with invitations being distributed to the concerts, “Young Hope” recitals and a Workshop. Students, professors and music lovers can also talk to the players and find out about different approaches to technique and style by soloists. There is a drawing competition on the theme “The Harp of your Dreams”.

Some sixty of the world's most beautiful yachts, built since the end of the 19th century, assemble in Antibes and open the Mediterranean season. These tall ships, some with sails over 1,000 square metres large, once more delight spectators of the races along the 24 kms of Antibes Juan-les-Pins coastline.
The Sailboats of Antibes - Panerai Trophy, in pure yachting tradition, also has days of events and parties on shore in the Yachting Village and the old town.
