Calabrians celebrate the Virgin Mary
The procession of the Virgin Mary takes place each September, organised by the Franco-Calabrian cultural association with president Rocco Marra. After Mass is celebrated in the cathedral, the statue of the Virgin Mary, protector of immigrants, is paraded around the streets of Antibes, accompanied by Calabrian folkloric groups.
A pious occasion, but with joy and fun too.

Run for a flower
Run for a flower is the last race of the year in Antibes, other races in the town being up Garoupe hill in January, the Rotary run in March, the ASOA Cross Country in April and the Semboules run in May.
For the safety of runners, the race is now on the first Sunday of October. The event is open to everyone, and each year, permit-holders and amateurs alike battle to beat previous records.

Boeuf Theatre (improvisation festival)

With the first nip of autumn chill comes the improvisation festival staged by Monette Candela and her team at the Theatre de la Marguerite and many stars of the genre. Each show opens with a discovery in “Eclats de Rire”.

This Rally is part of the European Rally Championship of the International Federation of Automobile Sport.
It is a high level event and has the coefficient 20.

The World Festival of Underwater Images

The World Festival of Underwater Images is a beautiful showcase of the “silent world”. See astonishing images in the ocean depths, unusual dives … there is an embarrassment of choice for lovers of the sea at the festival, with reports, documentaries, slide shows, painting exhibitions, photographs and stalls with books, holidays, diving equipment etc.

Christmas and New Year festivities in Antibes Juan-les-Pins
Antibes Juan-les-Pins council lights up the town with a thousand illuminations and stages magical events all around the town for young and old alike in the Christmas season. The Municipality, shopkeepers and associations all work together to make the festive season special and enjoyable for everyone.
